PROVIDENCE, R.I. (August 1, 2006)--Creative Circle Advertising Solutions (CCAS), makers of the popular adQ intelligent classifieds Web entry system, has issued a license to North Jersey Media Group to launch CommunityConnection.

CommunityConnection is a participatory journalism forum that enables any member of an online community to sign up and share stories, event announcements, photos or blogs, as well as host debates. The system supports a growing trend of citizen "watchdogs" who are becoming increasingly active in community reporting.

"CommunityConnection helps more people participate - faster and easier - than most any other form of dialogue on the Web," says Bill Ostendorf, president and founder of Creative Circle Media Consulting. "We are very excited to be working with North Jersey Media Group and look forward to bringing their customers better access to community information."

To date, North Jersey Media Group is the largest organization to purchase the CommunityConnection application, which currently serves more than 120 towns. The site is hosted at www.mycommunity.com.

While users so far have been primarily media companies, the product has applications for any organization looking to create an online community. Some examples include corporations wishing to create an employee intranet, trade associations, Chambers of Commerce and more.

CCAS has launched the program at other newspapers including the Mile High Newspapers in Jefferson County, Colorado.
